Upgrade Path

In this document you will find information on what path to follow to upgrade the Kubernetes Fury Distribution (KFD) between versions.

💡 refer to the versioning document to learn more on the versioning policy for KFD and the compatibility matrix for KFD vs Kubernetes versions support.

Next is the current supported and recommended upgrade path for most recent versions of KFD (from newest to oldest).

Once you have identified the path you want to follow, refer to the relevant upgrade guide for the required versions or to the release notes in case the upgrade guide is missing (for older versions of KFD).

From 1.23.x to 1.24.0​

1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

1.23.2 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

1.23.1 -> 1.23.2 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

From 1.22.x to 1.24.0​

1.22.1 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

1.22.0 -> 1.22.1 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

From 1.21.x to 1.24.0​

1.21.0 -> 1.22.0 -> 1.22.1 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

From 1.7.x to 1.24.0​

1.7.1 -> 1.21.0 -> 1.22.0 -> 1.22.1 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

1.7.0 -> 1.7.1 -> 1.21.0 -> 1.22.0 -> 1.22.1 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0

From 1.6.x to 1.24.0​

1.6.0 -> 1.7.0 -> 1.7.1 -> 1.21.0 -> 1.22.0 -> 1.22.1 -> 1.23.3 -> 1.24.0
